Voiceover artist, founder of a streetwear label, academy coach — and a professional hooper the whole way through.
Jesse Jones Jr. grew up in Irvington, New Jersey — twenty years there, by his father's count — and went to Irvington High School. Before the voiceovers he worked as a young chef in the family restaurant.
College basketball took him to Passaic County Community College for two years and then to the University of Bridgeport on a scholarship, where he reached the NCAA tournament in his junior year.
The #FilayyyyMovement started in June 2015 with a single Instagram voiceover of Steph Curry in the NBA Finals. He broke through nationally in 2018: a Nike voiceover deal, the NBA's This Is Why We Play campaign, All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, and two capsule collections with Deuce Brand.
He has kept playing professionally throughout — the KW Titans in Canada's NBL, Indomables de Juárez in Mexico, Homenetmen in Lebanon, and most recently a signing in China announced on his own account in August 2026 — while building the Filayyyy label and the Filayyyy Academy back in North Jersey.
